I'm Rachel (they/them). Edge Case Consulting LLC (EC²) is a one-person IT consulting practice, so when you work with EC², you work with me.

Background

I've been interested in computers my whole life, and I always wanted a career in tech. I've now worked in IT professionally for over a decade, most of it doing remote support and training. Since 2019 I've done business-to-business software support: helping people who use software for their jobs, not people who build it.

I bring empathy, resilience and a sense of humor to the work, because tech problems are frustrating enough already.

Why I started EC²

I spent years helping people at work who felt intimidated by technology, and I wanted to offer that help to more people in more industries.
