Privacy
Your privacy on this site
This site doesn't track you. There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking cookies. The only information I receive is what you choose to send me.
What this site collects
If you just browse: nothing that I can see. I don't run analytics, so I don't know who visits or which pages they read.
If you use the contact form: your name, your email address, your message and, if you choose to add them, your company name and a description of your business.
If you email me directly: whatever you put in the email.
What I use it for
I use what you send to reply to you and, if we work together, to do that work. That's all.
- I don't sell or share your information.
- I don't add you to a mailing list.
- I don't use it for advertising.
The services behind this site
A website can't run without a few outside services. These are the ones this site relies on, and what each of them can see.
- GitHub Pages hosts the site. Like any web host, GitHub sees the IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection) of each visitor and keeps it in its own security logs.
- Cloudflare Turnstile is the spam check on the contact form. It looks at signals from your browser, including your IP address, to tell people from bots. It isn't used for advertising.
- Cloudflare also carries your form message to my inbox. The message isn't stored in a database along the way.
The fonts and the code for this site are served from the site itself, so your browser isn't sent to Google or any other company to load them.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
How long I keep it
Messages stay in my inbox for as long as I need them to reply to you or to work with you.
Your choices
You can ask me what I have from you, or ask me to delete it, at any time. Email rachel@edgecaseconsulting.net and I'll take care of it.
Privacy and ad blockers are welcome here. If one stops the contact form from working, emailing me directly works just as well.
Who is responsible
Edge Case Consulting LLC, based in the US. If anything on this page changes, I'll update the date at the top.
